Hexham 1 Benfield Chemfica 2
February 2009
This was only one of three Northern Alliance games which managed take place on Saturday, the other two in Carlisle so East of Hexham was a total white out. The Wentworth pitch was in remarkably good condition considering the snow that had fallen the previous Thursday.

Hexham 5 Amble 0
January 2009
Perfect playing conditions welcomed Amble to the Wentworth Leisure Centre on Saturday for this Division Two fixture in the Northern Alliance. Hexham were looking to continue in a fine run of form against a team just below them in the league.

South Shields 1 Hexham 2
January 2009
A very boggy pitch welcomed Hexham to South Shields in the third round of the Northern Alliance League Cup on Saturday; this was to be a tough test as their hosts are sitting comfortably in second place in the division heading for promotion. In the past these games have always been tense affairs and this was no exception.

Hexham 1 Wallsend BC 4
January 2009
Hexham’s recent good run of results in the Re-Max Northern Alliance came to an uninspiring halt on Saturday in a strangely lethargic display. A hat trick from Wallsend centre forward Andy Law was the main culprit for spoiling the homes afternoon, aided and abetted by colleague Dan Parker to complete Hexham’s misery.
