A scratch Blyth Kitty Brewster team almost pulled off the result of the season against the league favourites The Masons Arms.
7 Players not available due to one reason or another left the Kitty with 11 players and the manager as the only back up substitute.

Kitty beat Rivals (Royal Tavern) to reach JD Marnock Cup Semi Final

The Blyth Kitty Brewster progressed into the Semi Finals of the JD Marnock Cup with a solid 4 1 victory against The Royal Tavern Blyth. The Tavern put up a stern test without ever looking as though they would win the game.

The Kitty still ravaged by injuries and players not being available went into this must win game against The Royal Tavern with a number of players playing out of position.
However a plucky display from the back 4 and Keeper Barry Gunn keeping a clean sheet the lads put on a solid second half performance to take all 3 points.

Blyth Kitty Brewster crahed out of the NFA Sunday Minor Cup to a well organised Burradon team. 9 (yes 9) unanswered goals against an injury ravaged Kitty team took Burradon throught to the last 4 of the competition.
