A scratch Blyth Kitty Brewster team almost pulled off the result of the season against the league favourites The Masons Arms. 7 Players not available due to one reason or another left the Kitty with 11 players and the manager as the only back up substitute.

The Blyth Kitty Brewster progressed into the Semi Finals of the JD Marnock Cup with a solid 4 1 victory against The Royal Tavern Blyth. The Tavern put up a stern test without ever looking as though they would win the game.

However a plucky display from the back 4 and Keeper Barry Gunn keeping a clean sheet the lads put on a solid second half performance to take all 3 points.
