Hazlerigg are busy completing a schedule for Pre season and are looking for opposition for friendlies over the course of the next 8 weeks. With a reserve side taking on afternoon football now and half a dozen new signings needing to fit into the first team we are looking for friendlies (probably away) during most of August and even late July.

Why don't money companies start loaning out players?! moaned Bullock as an injury crisis took it's toll on Sunday.
At least one or two maybe back for this Sunday with there being no Hatton fight!

Bell rings for "Victory"

Daniel Bell netted a first career Hat trick as Hazlerigg took all 3 points to beat Murton 4-0 with Airey getting his 3rd of the season to complete the scoring. To be fair to Murton they only had the bare 11 but we also had plenty missing, with only 14 fit players available, Bell was handed a rare start and took full advantage.

The better side won

Hazlerigg were brushed a side by a classy Leazes Inn side in the Quarters, 6-2 the end result.
It was a decent game, but Hazlerigg were too soft at the back.

Up for the Cup

Manager Bullock has promised supporters an improved performance this week as his side entertain The Leazes Inn at home in the Quarter Finals of the Nick Porter Cup.
We certainly cannot fold like we did last week if we conceed a goal or two, we've got enough quality to bounce back from defeats and i expect with improved attitude we may well suprise the watching nation this Sunday.
